In the heart of the Regional Natural Park of Morvan, we offer a wooden house on a plot of 2,300 m².

The hamlet of Montloiron has 11 houses, all situated at a generous distance from each other. The ideal place for those who love peace and space. The village with a shop is 1 kilometer away.

With its area of 50 m², the house is particularly suitable for two people. Thanks to the clever layout and windows all around, the house is bright and effectively much more spacious than one would expect from the outside! For those who desire more space, there is the possibility to further expand the house. The zoning plan also provides for the construction of a second dwelling. The plot is big enough!

With wide views of a valley and hills, and a beautifully landscaped garden with a large pond, it’s truly a wonderful place to be.

Because the garden emphasizes ornamental grasses, it is also a delight to the eye in winter.

And then there’s the terrace of 5x4 meters, with a heated swimming pool of 6x4 meters right next to it. How wonderful it is to dive into the pool directly from the terrace! It’s the first thing I do in the morning! Due to the unique design of the garden, the pool (because of the height difference) is only visible from the terrace and the house. But from the pool, you have the same fantastic view of the garden and the green Morvan.

An open roof structure was chosen for the house, with the beam construction fully visible. This not only gives a warm, handcrafted appearance but also creates a great sense of space. The area above the bedroom and bathroom has a floor that offers plenty of storage space while giving the bedroom an intimate atmosphere.

Behind the house is a covered storage/carport of 22 m².

Heating via a modern wood stove (6 kW) or the heat pump. The house is well insulated; in winter, even the heat pump is sufficient. But the wood stove gives the ambiance you so long for in winter…

The open kitchen has a 4-meter worktop. There is plenty of storage space, mainly with drawers. The two windows are positioned so that cooking and washing up are a pleasure, with a view of the garden. Appliances: combination oven-microwave, hob with 4 gas burners, fridge, washing machine.
Hot water via a boiler.

The luxuriously tiled bathroom has a spacious shower, toilet, large sink, and heating.

The 12 solar panels provide all the electricity in the summer for hot water, air conditioning, and heating the swimming pool. Thanks to a computer-controlled system, consumption is automatically adjusted to the solar supply. In winter, it can be supplemented with mains electricity. It all happens automatically.

In short… a lovely house with a fantastic garden, in a beautiful Morvan.
